    Description

    RARE Tiny Hummingbird Nest Horse Hair/ Dog Hair & Pine Needles Abandoned Nest.  This is the second hummingbird nest I found this season.  It was under my pine tree in the pasture not far from where I found the first nest.  This one is not as tightly woven as the first nest and slightly smaller.  It makes me wonder if 2 pairs of hummingbirds nested here this year.  It may have been a more experience pair of hummingbirds that constructed the other nest.   Perhaps the second nest was constructed by a young pair of birds.  I will show photos of both nests for comparison.  But the first 3 are photos are of the nest I will be shipping. The other nest has been sold. Finding this one was an interesting surprise and I wish I knew much more about these beautiful crratures.  I am quite sure this was made by ruby throated hummingbitds because these ate the ones I have seen over the years.  I love seeing the wild life that visits here.  Some of these animals I steer clear of but it's exciting to see the birds and deer.  I look forward to viewing them when the visit.   Condition is "Used" (by a pair of hummingbirds).  Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
