ANTIQUE HOT PINK CELLULOID HAND MIRROR AND BRUSH SET -- BOXED

Rare vintage shabby Hot Pink Celluloid large hand mirror and matching hairbrush.  Celluloid was only used on vanity items until 1940 so we'd place this set in the mid to late 1930s.  Antique Celluloid vanity items are now very collectible.
The hand mirror has painted flowers on the back and measures 13-1/8" long.  There is slight spotting on the mirror due to age.  The matching hair brush has been used but it's clean and still usable.   It measures 9" long.
The set comes in its original floral box.  NOTE that the box is shopworn and is torn on one side but to be expected for a box over 70 years old.
Celluloid is a brand name.
From the late 19th century to the 1940s
accessories and collectibles were fashioned from Celluloid.
This collectible 1930s set would look fantastic on a shabby dresser.
