    Description

For your consideration is this 1973 Liberia 7-coin proof set.  This set was struck at the U.S. Mint.  The five dollar coin that was featured in 1973 was the new 42 mm coin which was the largest silver coin ever struck at the U.S. Mint up to this time.  The set has never been removed from the presentation box and is still sealed in a flexible, clear plastic cover. The plastic is completely inert which helped reduce the process of natural tarnishing.   The five dollar coin is .900 silver, 42 mm and 34.1g.  This set will come to you in the red presentation box with its original cardboard wrap.
